Day off

So I took a day off for the first time in FOREVER. Really I had a couple of appointments this morning to get out of the way. And just so you know this surgery is really going to SUCK. In just a word.

So after I went to my appointments, I decided to stay home. First I had to make a quick stop my Hobby Lobby and Michaels to see what was new. And then came home and worked on a couple of things. I was able to walk around the store and not be concerned with time. That was really weird, but really cool all at the same time.

Here is a couple of pics of what I did today.

I have to start getting ready for March Madness next weekend. I can't wait. The problem is making sure that I have everything packed and don't forget anything. I am sure I will be working on something this weekend before I pack everything up. Until the next time. Scrap your heart out

Going Crazy

So, some of you know me personally and know that I am going through some medical issues. Well I was just thinking that after my surgery (still do not know when it will be). I will not be able to scrap for weeks...... Like 6-8. I am thinking this is going to really SUCK! So I was thinking that at March Madness I can get a ton done and set up a ton for when I am feeling better. I am getting a little nervous about the whole thing. I feel like I have been in a different world lately and really just wish I could quit my job and scrap all day every day. That sounds like fun.

I will not be able to type either. Oh heavens, what in the world am I going to do?!?!?!?!?!?!

Ok, nothing much more right now. I will post a couple of pics later of the stuff that I am working on now. My Garden pages.

Have a blessed day.

Made it through

So, I made it through another Monday. Last week I was not feeling well and I believe in part it was the medicine I was taking to make me feel BETTER. It was terrible, I was just not myself and that is not good.

This week after work, I plan on working on a couple more cards for my nieces and nephews. I also have to start packing up for March Madness. I want to make sure I am not missing anything. Last year when I went to fall frolic, I lost a mini power sort of pictures. That is almost 600 pictures, that I really am not sure what all was in there and I am not sure if I am able to replace all of them. I really wish it would just magically appear.

I would like to point out that I have a shopping problem. I think every week that I have to get something new. I have gotten a little better the past couple of weeks. OK, well maybe. This is one trip out, when I was not feeling well. 2 new stacks, 2 stamps (oh so cute), StazOn (Jet Black), watercolor pencils, more brads, and blending pens.
Last week I also received my Wild Card Cricut cartridge. I know that I really do not need some of these things, but I feel like I NEED them. You know what I mean. I am working on this and really I do plan on using all of my stuff that I buy. I was wondering, those of you that are newer to this or have used DCWV for card making, or folding in general, do you have a problem with it breaking?I have tried to not score it as much but just folding it still happens. I am working on finding the good paper and cardstock and might need a little help in finding the good stuff. I have a tendency to buy and then find out that I do not like it and it will stay in my pile oh crap.
Will show you the work later this week, when I get something new done. Until then, have a wonderful week and I can make it through another Tuesday.

This is what I have been working on today

So, I am a little slow at what I do. I think I have to have everything perfect. Don't know why, wish I could fix it but I can't. Before I decided to take a 5 hour NAP. I really have no idea how that happened. I was working on a couple of things.

So I have to learn to take better pictures of my work. I will. So here is one of the things that I have been working on. I am getting ready to do a little more. Till then we will see what happens.

Have a wonderful evening.

I HAVE A FOLLOWER - Make that TWO

Determined, Determined, Determined

There will be no more of that.

On to the cool stuff. Today I went to pick up a stamp so I could finish my nephew's card. As always, I got a little more than I went for. I think that happens to everyone, unless you really have self control. NOT ME. I actually had to tell myself out loud today, to leave the store, that I was going to get myself in trouble.

So want to know what else I got, well I will tell you.

DCVW - Green Stack - Thanks Robyn and The Glitter Stack. Sweet, I'm goin have to show you. Also bought 2 stamps, jet black StazOn, aqua flo brushes watercolor pencils, brads. I think that is it but I could be wrong. I will post some pics as soon as I can get off this computer and work on some cards and scrapbook pages.

Talk with you soon, and to all a good night.

My Stress .....going, going, hangin by a thread

This has been the craziest weeks EVER. I think I am losing my mind and no one is there to help put the pieces back together. I still believe the best way to describe me is BROKEN. Everything of myself is, BROKEN. I just feel that I needed to let this out somewhere, and since no one follows my blog, I can just know that I am talking to myself and no one else cares.

OK - Enough of that. Today I am going to work on a couple of things to get my mind off the rest of the world. Leave it all behind. SO. I got a couple of new things in the mail today and can not wait to really use them.

I love sales and coupons ( that is COU ponds and QUE ponds), see that is one of the things that drives me crazy. I tell myself all the time that we really need the money, but somehow I can go to the store and buy more scrapbook stuff, and go on weekends to scrapbook, that I think I am spending too much money on, just for a weekend. But then there is a part of me that really wants to think this will be a good time for me to think and be alone. If you do not want to talk you don't have to.

Sorry I am not really talking about scrapping. I think I will finish with my venting at home.

I will just let you know that the items I got today are

Fiskars Boarder Punch - Threading Water
Diamond

and yesterday or the day before
Cuttlebug Embossing Folders - Perfectly Paisley
Stylized Flowers
Floral Screen

So, I will be playing with these for the next couple of days until I get

CRICUT CARTRIDGE******DRUM ROLL******WILD CARD****SWEET

ROBYN PINKSTAMPER
Thank you for helping me in my journey. We have never met, or spoken, but learning how much easier a project can be with just a little practice is a wonderful help. Hats off to you. Five children and you are able to still have time to scrap and craft.

On to he next thing. Thank you for reading this, if you are. If you are not, that would not surprise me.

He is guiding me in the right direction, this to shall pass and I shall be me again. It is time to work or have a career that makes me happy. I feel one of the best movies to explain how I have been feeling is Click.

Really, I most go. I would like to get some scrapping or make a couple of cards before I fall asleep. I might not even watch Grey's, I think this will be the first time since the show started. EVER. I need to be in my bubble, and let me be me.

Sorry to bring you down. Soon we will be back up and I will feel worth something to myself.

To all have a good night.

Craft Room Video

OK - so I have had this camera for a couple of years and just relized that it is a video camera too. So I am a little slow sometimes. Earlier, I posted pictures of my craft area and wanted to give you a little more of a detailed view. Check out the video. Now that I know how to use this camera as a video camera, I will start posting more videos. Enjoy your day.

So I just looked at this one and for some reason I can't get it to go longer than 5 minutes. There is more to the video, but I will have to post that later. This took 45 minutes to post and I think it is just the camera. So again have a wonderful day.

Craft Room

I have looked and looked, and changed and changed my space to make a craft area that would not get in the way of the rest of the family. At first I was using our enclosed porch, that did not last long. The first year I had it on the porch and would run a heater when it started to get cold. Being in NW Ohio, we have winter and I could not scrap until spring. That is a long time to not work on anything. So, I had enough of that. Having just bought the house in the past couple of years, I am still working on the layout. Our style, that we really lack. Since we are lucky enough to have a family room and a living room, I decided that I should be able to move stuff around and have a permanent craft room or area, that I did not have to freeze in.

This is the room (porch) it all started in.

We as a family spend most of our time in the family room with the fireplace. The living room is a living room, dining room, and craft room now. I have claimed my corner of the room and keep changing to make it work. I think I am getting close to having it in working order.

This is a work in progress.

I will scrap a page or do a card and see if I have everything I am going to use in close reach. I am the type of person that really does not like to get up to find things when I am scrapping.

Sooner or later I will have it all set the right way. In 3 weeks, I am going to take more than half of my stuff with me, when I go to my favorite weekend event. March Madness a Creative Memories (Hosted by my consultant) weekend scrap that I go to every year. Back to what I was saying, sorry I tend to get off subject.

Today I used some Priority boxes that you can get from the Post office, for free, to sort and hold my DCWV Card stock and Printed Paper. I cut it down and covered it with white contact vinyl. So here are some more of the newest set up for my craft space.

I hope to get the Flip camera for my birthday, and then I wouldn't have to type this all out, I could just post a video. Ok, so that is enough for tonight. I will update more later. Have a wonderful week and have faith.
