HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Happy New Year's Eve

Now that I have that out of the way, I would like to say hello to everyone and let you all know how much I have TRULY MISSED YOU!!! Being a grandma is a full time gig and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I have been terrible with blogging this year, if you haven't noticed already... But I really am going to try a couple new things in the new year. 2016 has to be better than last year.

First things first. I wanted to give you a heads up that I am getting my stamps together and placing them on EBay. I am also purging other items in my craft space. I have found that I just have too much stuff and I will never be able to use it all.

Cricut cartridges,  embellishments, STAMPS (Stampin' Up, Close to My Heart, Unity, MFT, LaLa, and many many more), tools, punches, dies, craft blanks, alterable items, etc. New, used,  opened but not used. This list is going to go for a bit.

So keep your eyes open and I will post a link as soon as I get some items up and listed. I may also end up doing a destash video.

I hope everyone has been well and had a wonderful Christmas and holiday. Be safe bringing in the new year.

Can't wait to talk with you soon.

I Miss....

Hello Crafty Friends!!!

(My Ben watching YouTube with me)

I just wanted everyone to know that I miss you all! I know life happens and sometimes we have to step away from the computer for a little bit here and there but it makes me miss you all the more.

I have been missing out on a lot of your crafty stuff as I have only been around Blogland here and there. Since the passing for my Father in Law, and two family friends things just seem to keep getting crazier.

As always, during my fall crop,  I didn't get much done but I did find my mojo as I was packing up. I have now added more things to my " I MUST MAKE THIS LIST".

I am really missing scrapping and have the itch to make some mini albums again. I am going to be working on pregnancy and baby one for my sons girlfriend.

But first I am working on Christmas gifts. My list is long and plenty and somehow it just keeps getting put off. I want to do things but then my body tells me its time to take a nap.

I'm about 3/4 the way done with my daughters "Katwise inspired" sweater coat. I can't wait till it's done. It's not the best but this is my first one, of many many more.

I of course don't have a full pic of it yet but this is just what the skirt of it was like at the very beginning.

Tonight as I'm working on my post I have my embroidery machine stitching away. I have a lot of gifts this year that I would like to include awesome artwork on top of the gift itself. I can't wait to see the reaction of my Aunt and Uncle that receive these blankets.  Each year I put a fleece blanket in the family gift exchange and the first year they were the ones to receive it. This past year my uncle has had a rough go. Open heart surgery, stroke, another surgery to correct the growth of his chest.... Ever since he has been home this blanket has been his little security blanket. I'm telling you, he has been like Linus. He always has that blanket. So I thought it was time to give him a blanket that not only is big enough for him but is not blue and white polka dot and a little more personalized.

I hope to get a tutorial together and up for this weeks Tour/Technique Tuesday. I really am working on my videos for my YouTube Channel

Since I seem to be rambling I will call it a post of tonight. I really am going to be working pretty hard at sharing what is going on here in regards to my crafty stuff. I hope everyone is well and I'll talk with you soon.

Blessings

Design Team - Echo Park Chillingsworth

Can you believe that Halloween is just around the corner?... I am just shocked when I go out to the store and the Halloween stuff is already marked down and the Christmas stuff has been up for some time now.

This week I was given the oh so awesome Echo Park - Chillingsworth. Some really like it and others are unsure how they feel about it. I myself love it.

Here is what I came up with.

I cut the hunted house using the Silhouette and made sure to roof the house using the Chillingsworth paper. There are also some steps covered with the paper pack and stickers from the collection pack.

I really enjoyed working with this paper pack that I might be able to squeak a few more things out of it.

Make sure to check out all the Happenings at Scrap Happy and enter to be on the mailing list for all the up to the minute information.

SERIOUSLY

Have you ever been going along and you see that the project you have been working on is ALMOST done. I painted and distressed the frame last night before I went to bed and I just started working on it a little bit ago to finish it up.

One last thing needs to be done. I need to add the little doll rod on the back as the stand.

THEN..... PO, CRACK, BOOM!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!?!

YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING.

Time to see if we have any wood glue.

So hopefully this is not how the rest of my evening will be.

On a better note, I have been busy getting things done. I am working my way through all my Cricut cartridges to do the project that is in the front of the manual.

Here is what I have done so far.
This is from  - A Child's Year
This is from - Beyond Birthdays

And this is from Animal Kingdom.

Well that what I have for now. I have also uploaded a couple of cards that I have done the past couple of days over on my Facebook - The Determined Scrapper. Make sure to go and check it out.

Time to go get the glue. Have a Wonderful Monday evening.

Newest Craft Fair Items / A little Hello

Hello everyone. So I have been a tad bit busy  lately. To the point that I have totally forgotten what day it is already. This is my first full week of not going into the office and I already don't know what day it is. I am not really sure how that is going to end up, but so far I am really enjoying myself.

This is a VERY picture heavy post . I just thought I would share some of the things that I have been busy with. I have been so busy that I have gone with a roll and a half of ATG tape in a couple of hours. I don't think I have ever done that. CRAZY........

A dear friend of mind just had back surgery and I thought I would send a card. He is in a LOT of pain right now so it would be a good time to use the wonderful gift from ProvoCraft. I just LOVE this special download that Gypsy owners received. (even though I had difficulties with my virus software first, but got it all worked out) Smiley Cards has some of the CUTEST things.

This is an altered journal. I was very proud of myself on this one. This was the first time I did a full size altered journal and if I say so myself, I think it turned out very pretty. It didn't take me as long as I thought it would. That's a first. Normally it takes me forever to complete an idea. I think that now I am home (MAYBE) ideas will flow a little easier. That would be nice.

This is a toilet paper mini, I just love doing these. Some times it takes a little bit to come up with what I want to do, but these 2 seemed to come pretty easy also. This wintertime one is not 100% complete but I thought I would share what I had done. The very front blue snowflake page will have "make a " on it, so the complete book will say "make a wish"

Here is another toilet paper roll mini. This one is for fall. It would be great for photos of raking leaves or picking apples/pumpkins, anything done during the fall time. I would have to say Face is one of my favorite times of year - the colors, the smells, the feeling.

Here are some of the Skinny Notebooks I have started working on. I still have a whole bunch I would like to complete before this weekend. I always feel like I don't have enough stuff. I would like to have a lot of Christmas and wintertime items for the next 2 craft shows but I WILL NOT stress myself out. I am doing this for fun, because I enjoy it and I love the fact that I can do this with what is in my head.

I made the design on my Gypsy and instead of cutting out I attached my Cricut Markers and drew the design as my background cardstock. I love how this turned out.
I then cut out some extra music notes and popped them up with pop dots to give it a little POP.
This skinny notebook is all heat embossed. I stamped the front and back with a snowflake and boarder design then heat embossed it. I LOVE how it turned out. I then attached a snowflake button to the front, a piece of ric rac to the back and wrapped the ric rac around the button as a closure.
I then stamped the bottom of each page with the same boarder stamp.
I just stamped the entire piece of cardstock with white craft ink and made that the background. I just love how the white ink pops with the red.

Here are the mini altered journals. I got these at the Dollar Store. They come in packs of 3/$1.00.
I was able to get these covered, but I have not completed them.

That's what I have for now. I have been busy and I LOVE IT. I have to get back to my craft desk there are still a ton of things that I would like to get done before this weekend and if I am at the computer, I am not working with craft paper. Hope I get to talk with everyone more often now and hope everyone is doing well. I will however be a little under the weather next week, I am having surgery a week from today.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention. This past Sunday was the first time I had attended an actual Stampin Up workshop. And I must say, I had a WONDERFUL time. I now am going to be addicted to going to them. Its a good thing she has them every month.

More to come soon, well as soon as I can pull myself away from my craft desk.

Blessings to everyone.
