Design Team - Echo Park Chillingsworth

Can you believe that Halloween is just around the corner?... I am just shocked when I go out to the store and the Halloween stuff is already marked down and the Christmas stuff has been up for some time now.

This week I was given the oh so awesome Echo Park - Chillingsworth. Some really like it and others are unsure how they feel about it. I myself love it.

Here is what I came up with.

I cut the hunted house using the Silhouette and made sure to roof the house using the Chillingsworth paper. There are also some steps covered with the paper pack and stickers from the collection pack.

I really enjoyed working with this paper pack that I might be able to squeak a few more things out of it.

Make sure to check out all the Happenings at Scrap Happy and enter to be on the mailing list for all the up to the minute information.

Today is another Scrap Happy day. Candy and I are down here helping Susie out in the store so my workdesk is an entire store!

Hopefully I will have some fun stuff to show you later.

Design Team......

Ok, so I finished this last week and I have been a little behind getting things up on the blogs and everywhere else. Sorry everyone.

This card was made using the For the Record Documented by Echo Park. I also used the saying tag from Jillibean's new release. The banner tails were cut using Scrap Happy Die

This is a simple yet useful card for any occasion.

Hope you enjoy this card. I can't wait to show you the project I'm currently working on for design team.... You are going to love it.

September is here

and I am running late as I am becoming accustom too. I don't know what has been happening, but I have been running later and later the more things I have going on. I have had a garage sale this weekend. That went well. It was like black Friday....Saturday morning at 9am ladies were lined up down the driveway to check out. They were not messing around. You mention scrappy stuff, Thirty One, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple.... Women come running.

On with the September stuff. I'm sorry I missed AGAIN WOYWW, but I was getting ready for the garage sale this week and was not able to get it posted. I will make sure that I get that done this week. Now I have a couple of things that I need to address. The September stamp of the month for Close to My Heart.

Is it not the cutest thing you have seen for fall?... And in addition to the new SOTM is the continuation of the It's Your Day special double stamp set that goes through the end of the month.

Make sure to get both of these stamp sets by contacting me or going to my website and placing your qualifying purchase.

The next thing on the agenda... I received the Liebster Award AGAIN!!!

Nickie Hoffer of Live Scrap Love has nominated me for a Liebster! This is truly an honor. Thank you so much Nickie for this honor. It really does mean a lot to know that people are enjoying what I do.

A little about the Liebster.

This is how it works...
Liebster is a German word meaning "Beloved", "Favorite", or "Dearest". This award is a peer to peer award in which fellow bloggers present the award to their favorite bloggers with less than 200 followers. The origins of this award is unclear, but it believed to have originated by a German blogger. This award was designed to be a blog award in the pay if forward fashion to share your dearest and most beloved blogs that have less than 200 followers.

Rules for Acceptance
Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog. Post the award onto your blog. Give the award to five bloggers who you appreciate that have less than 200 followers. Leave a comment on their blog letting them know that you have given them this awesome award.

I love to receive and share this award because it gets us enjoying the work of others that we might not find if it were not placed before us. Here are my five in no particular order.

Candy with Life on the Crafty Side
Marla with Paper Sentiments by Marla
Tonia with Tonia Creates
Danielle with Ecoscrapbook
Keisha with Kustom Treasures

I hope you ladies enjoy your award and share them.

That is it for now. Keep an eye out of more news, I am planning on joining Thirty One Gifts in this upcoming week and would love to share more information with you. I'm just a busy little bee.

Have a wonderful Labor Day everyone!
