This will be a real quick post just showing you all what I have been working on. I'm getting ready for a couple craft shows and trying to control a migraine.

And so here is a little of what I have on my desk today -

I'll be working on fabric crafts shortly so I had to get the tables out.

Ben soaking up the sun.

Just some of the fabrics I will be working with.

If you want to know what all this WOYWW stuff is all about make sure to stop over to Julia's page and check out desk from all around the world. Have a blessed day.

WOYWW #226

Can you believe that I'm actually posting on a what's on your workspace Wednesday!!!! Its been so long since I've posted I actually think there has been a hundred post since I've done this.

Today is the first day that I am actually crafting in almost a year I've had some loss of my mojo for quite awhile and now I'm hoping to find it again. I'm going to be in 3 craft shows coming up and I would like to find my mojo.

The today I'm working on some tile coasters that I will be selling at my craft show. I'm stamping them then sealing them and backing them with and adhesive felt. I'll post pictures along the way.

A couple other projects in the background that I'm going to be working on are photo clips made out of the large binder clips and a large clothes pins. And the two large bags of pony beads are going to be used for multiple different crafts.

So glad I can join in on the what's on your workspace Wednesday. I've missed everyone if you haven't joined you should go over the Julia's page and check it out.

Until my next post which will hopefully be soon have a blessed day!

Craft Shows, Bzz Agent, and much more!

HELLO EVERYONE

I know I have been a little MIA for the past couple months. Even the last year but you know sometimes life just gets in the way. Or at least I manage to get in the way of mine. I wanted to give everyone a quick update as to life as The Determined Scrapper.

I am still very determined to be The Determined Scrapper. I have kinda been on hiatus for awhile due to the above, but I am ready to dive back into the hobby that I truly do love.

I have entered 3 crafts shows so for before the end of the year and can not wait to see you all. I will update with all the location information this week. Also I wanted to advise everyone that I am no longer a consultant with Close to My Heart or Thirty One. I had to withdraw for personal reasons.

So as for the crafting, I have moved rooms again (final move I swear). Hopefully I will record a room tour this week sometime. I'm going to try and start working a little out of what I used to do and start making more fabric pieces to take with me to craft shows.

More on crafting in my next post.

I also wanted to let my current readers be aware that I have become a member of BzzAgent. BzzAgent is a ( Directly taken from their site) -

Connecting people and their favorite brands since 2001, BzzAgent is the leading social marketing company. What's that mean to you? We put products in the hands of hundreds of thousands of real consumers and help them share their opinions about them with friends and family via reviews, Facebook posts, photos and videos, blog posts and more. We wouldn't call ourselves heroes, but it's okay if you want to.

So what does that mean for my page. From time to time I will also be posting about the current campaign that I am in and letting you know my thoughts and seeing if you have tried these items also. For my crafty friends if that is a post you do not want to follow I will try to make sure that I am tagging them and you can skip right past if you're not interested. But just in case you would like to see what I'm working with make sure to check it out.

I have been doing little things on the side like this to help me get out of my normal comfort place so I can get back to being me again.

So as for posting about BzzAgent here is my first post on that.

I have been using this product for about a week now and I have to say it is so soft and doesn't leave a greasy feel to your body. I will have to update the status on my skin as I keep up with using it to rid myself of terrible dry skin.

Okay, So to wrap up tonight's post I would like to say. Thank you to those of you that have stayed around with me. Sorry I have been MIA for so long. I am really going to get back up on the table and start getting my craft on. I miss seeing and talking with everyone and can't wait to start doing WOYWW again. Hopefully I will actually have something on my desk this week.

Bye Bye Google Reader, Hello Bloglovin'

I have no clue why Google Reader is soon to be gone.  But, I have made the transition to Bloglovin’to read up on the blogs I follow.  It was actually super simple and literally took all of 3 minutes.
You just create a Bloglovin’ account and in the process it asks if you want to import the blogs you read on Google Reader to your new Bloglovin’ account.  Click the button to import and that’s it!
The platform looks similar to Google Reader…

Don’t worry if you don’t see your blog on my list of reads…The list is very long and I LOVE BLOGS
And if you prefer to read your favorite blogs on your phone or iPad, here is the Bloglovin’ app!
Thank you all for being such loyal readers.  I feel so lucky!  Now go get your read on and Follow my blog with Bloglovin'!!
Or, if readers aren't your thing, of course you can opt for email updates instead! (See the box below.)

I should note– I wasn't compensated in any way for this post.  Just wanted to share my thoughts on switching reader platforms in case the soon to be disappearance of Google Reader has got you flustered. ;)

I'm Back!

Can you believe that it has been 6 months. Yes, I said six months since I last posted. I have looked and try to post a couple of times but the words just never came out.

I'm sorry to all my followers that have been wondering where I have been. Well there is no other way to put this but to say that I have been trapped within myself. Stuck in my own head. Life has chewed me up and spit me out. That of course is how I have looked at it. I have gone with a very rough patch the past year or so and I am really trying hard to get onto the road to recovery. I am trying to become a better me. All in all, I just have to know that the surgery I had 3 years ago changed my life forever and I will have to learn to live a life full of chronic pain. If you yourself or know someone that deals with chronic pain, just let them know that you are aware not all illnesses are visible. There may be times on my blog that I will just need to talk about my surgery and see if others are dealing with the same thing. If you are my crafty followers, that is a day you might want to skip. I just need to get things off my chest and maybe this will be a good way for me to do it. Not that I will be complaining, but just to say my feelings.

I truly am going to work on blogging more again. It is a release and a way to interact with others. I miss the pen-pals that I had and talking with ladies from around the world. I love to see all the wonderful creations and beautiful works of art each of you come up with. And the crafty challenges and visiting everyone's work desk.

I, myself have not done much in the way of crafting, since pain has stolen my mojo. But of course that never stops me from buying craft supplies. I once said that they needed to create a C.S.A. (Craft Supply Anonymous). You know, for us crafters that buy, buy, buy, but never use. I'm pretty much a hoarder of all things crafty. I hate to use it just because it is so pretty and I might not find it again. I, however, am TRYING to behave myself and slow down in that arena.

As for my craft space. Last year my son had moved out for a couple months to go to school and moved in with his grandparents. We were thinking it was going to be much longer than it was. I had moved my entire space from the location in the living room into the small bedroom. And my daughter and husband and I moved our rooms around too. After finally getting things the way I liked them.....My son asked if he could move back home. Of course he did. So back out to the living room I went. I still am out in the living room and think I have things the way I like them, since this is the third time moving things around. And watch, he will move out again and I will be able to have a bedroom back. I also plan on doing a updated room tour since I have things the way I like them. So keep an eye out for the YouTube video.

I have spent a lot of time with my good friend Candy from Life on the Crafty Side. She has been a wonderful support and we do and talk crafty stuff all the time. She is a wonderful helper when I do my workshops and just great to be a listening ear when I need a friend.

I think that is enough info for you for tonight. But I will be posting again soon. Hopefully with some new art that I have been working on. Maybe some cards or a couple layouts. One just never knows.

Thanks for being a listening ear and can't wait to talk with you again soon.

Blessing - Mindy
