WOYWW 152

I know I have been saying this every week lately, but really could it be Wednesday again ALREADY? I have been so busy that I have not even had a chance to read through all my blogs. Hopefully I will get though them later today. I am so busy with craft shows and garage sales and custom orders that one would think it is later in the year. I hope that is a good sign.

I did this card last night, isn't it cute???

So yesterday was a VERY eventful day. My son has been growing his hair for 5+ years planning on going into the military. Long story there, but he is medically disqualified from all branches. But he made a promise to all of his friends at school that on May 1, of his Senior year he was going to cut it all off.

And he did. He looks so good with short hair. Here are a few pictures from the event. I was the lucky one to cut the ponytail that was donated to locks of love.

So I have some very EXCITING NEWS!!! I am  going to become a Close to My Heart Consultant in May. I have been considering it and made a deal with my dh and we have agreed so it will be!!! YAY! I am so excited. I will keep you up dated, but I will be starting card kits and other kits each month. I will also start workshops at my house for a stamp club each month. Oh the thoughts going through my head and the planning is all so wonderful.

So now on with the WOYWW with Julia's Stamping Ground. For those of you that are not aware of what this is, it is a weekly update of your workspace to share with others and get to meet other crafters. Take a tour around by visiting Julia's and have fun.

So that is part of my week. Hope you enjoy yours and I will see you around over the next week.

You son looks very cute with his hair cut - reminds me of the time my nephew had long hair and my sister wasnt keen on it - without her knowing he had it cut on xmas eve and then wrapped his head in wrapping paper and lay under the tree until she came down in the morning...

Love that turtle! He is gorgeous, I love using that honeycomb paper. Your Son was lovely before he had his hair cut but he looks wonderful now - I bet his head feels a bit lighter too. Anne #44

@Jackie - Yes that is a Gypsy that you see sitting there.... I just love her. She never leaves my side.

@famfa - Close to My Heart is a Scrapbooking and Stamping company here in the States. http://www.closetomyheart.com/ They are WONDERFUL. I will be doing kit clubs shortly so keep an eye out and join in on one.

Thanks everyone for the kind words about my son. He is going to kill me when I tell him I showed his pics to the world. But yes he is my better with a lot less hair.
