Things will get better

OK - I will be working on this blog. I enjoy letting it out, but I really would like to make this more about me scrapping and crafting, then about my everyday life. I am getting a Flip soon so I can start doing videos. I have some very cool tools that I use and consider myself a very simple scrapper. Can't wait to show you.

GETTING IT DONE

I am pretty proud of myself. I have been getting things done around the house. Painting, cleaning, ORGANIZING. Something I thought I would just put off forever. It seems that by the time I get home from work there is no way I am going to get anything done. Over the weekend We finished painting the living room. Now I just have to finish going through all the crap that we manage to acquire. I think we are pack rats and I am trying to get away from that. I have an entire box of things that need to be shredded, we broke ours because it was being used so much. I am also still working on organizing my craft area. I have so much stuff, but for some reason I do not have a lot of completed work to show everyone. That is why my blog name is THE DETERMINED SCRAPPER. I am determined to do things and have something to look back on. I also have been thinking a lot about cards. I have so many ideas running through my head, and then I look at some of the most awesome blogs and see what other people do, and then I do not think I can do as well as them. I know I have problems.

Well I really just need to get over that. I work full time, have a family and pets. I will sooner or later get everything done and be able to say that I accomplished what I set out to do. So I need to get it done. I would love to have videos showing what I am doing, but I do not have a camera that will hookup to the computer. Want to get a Flip, but think the husband would kill me right now if I bought one. I have a tendency to buy, use for a little and then let it sit. I am working on that too.

Blah, Blah, Blah

So do you ever have one of those days, where you are just not sure what to do. I have so many things that need to get done, but for some reason they never do. I am tired of not having the energy to do things that I want to get done. I really think that I need to talk to the doctor about this. I want to clear all the clutter in the house. Finish painting the living room so I can get my craft stuff set up the right way. I was thinking of getting those boxes that you add together to make a desk.... I will explain later.

I just received my registration form for the March Madness at Sauders Village in Archbold, OH. LOVE going to scrap weekends. This time I have the Cricut so I will make sure to take that with me. I still have not found an entire box of pictures. That is just killing me.

Talk with you later. I am going to try and get some stuff done, I have to go to the dentist today and really will not feel like doing much a little later until the stuff wears off.

Painting, cleaning, organizing, gifts, mailing gifts, my list could go for days. Over plan under accomplish.

Get Going

I really need to get going. I need to get my plan back in order. Once I get the plan back in order, I need to start using it. There are so many things that I want to get done, and I feel like it is never going to happen.

Yesterday was a very rough day. Just one thing after another and today is a day for change.

I have more things listed on E-Bay. Hopefully they will all sell for a lot. Really need the money now. Shelby has to get braces. I can not wait to scrap this event in our life. Shelby just got glasses last week.

I want to scrap more, sell more on E-Bay, make more cards, have a cleaner house, not stress as much. I could go on and on. This blog is a way for me to vent a little and share my joys. Right now I do not think anyone else has even looked at my blog so I am venting to myself.

I did a layout the other night. I was pretty proud of myself that I just said that I was going to to it and I got it done.

Cricut Glass Etching

So I was on the other day and had a whole post ready and then I hit some strange button that I have never hit before ever on a computer and the entire post was gone.

I am going to try and get better about posting. Today I did glass etching and it turned out really good for the first time. So to do the glass etching you need to pick your design and cut on your Cricut with vinyl. Hobby Lobby is a great place to find the glass etching cream, I will have to post the name of it a little later. You put your designed vinyl on your glass, brush on your cream, waiting 5-10 minutes, when complete was with water, making sure all traces of cream are gone, remove vinyl and you are done. Very easy and fun.

I really am a person that has a plan that somehow never seems to get it taken care of. I have so much in my head and I would like it to come out. That is why I started blogging. I am going to get on here everyday and start to talk through my ideas.

In for the long hall

I have been up and down last night. That does not happen very often. I went to bed early 9:30 and then I was up at 2 and I could not get back to sleep until after 3:30. And then up for the day at 5:45. I like to get up early so I can get some me time before I go to work all day and have that over take my day. There is a lot to be desired there.

I am trying to work on me and not vent. There will be days that I will need to vent on my blog, because, honestly, I do not think anyone is ready it yet. If you are here is an insight into my life.

I did 2 pages and a card (Cricut sample) the other day and really would like to get more done. I am a scrapper that loves the hobby and wishes that I had more time. I am also the scrapper that does not have enough of my ideas coming out on paper. I have been reading a lot latley in the hopes that I can get something done.

Time to force the kids up for school. Until the next time. Hopefully as I do this I will have things in order a little better.

In the Begining

Ok - So I really never did this blogging thing, but as the title states I am determined. I have tried many things and this is just the next in the list of adventures.



I have been trying to scrapbook for a couple of years now and have not really completed a whole album yet. Well I guess I have if you count an 7x7 album. I guess I could count that. The theme for the album is an ongoing and I have a ton of pics to still scrap. I think my big thing is I really do not have all my pics in order.



I think I want to do it one way and then start to do it another.


OK, so I think I will start out with this info. There is a ton more that I will be putting on in the near future. I just wanted to get my first post up and we will go from there. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I will be putting up pics of work that I have done and pics of the family as I get to it. Soon I hope to start doing videos for the learning process on the Cricut and a couple of other cool toys I have.
