WOYWW 157 and More

First let me start by saying, sorry I missed you last week for WOYWW. I had oral surgery on Tuesday, the day before. And was in bed all day for the 2 days following. I am still not 100%, but I have been so busy I just thought I would wait until this week.

I am a day behind for my DT work for Scrap Happy Ohio and I don't like to let people down. I will get that done. Hopefully today. I have a WONDERFUL idea.

Over the weekend, my son has officially moved out and we moved around rooms. My craft space is no longer in the living room. I now have a room of my own and I can close the door! I just uploaded a YouTube video on that. Full room tour to come shortly.

I have also been working very hard at getting things in there straightened enough so I could work on my sons graduation Thank Yous and party invitations. While still trying to keep house and not keel over from the pain.

Some days I think I do way too much for my body, but I am really going to try and work on that. I want to be better, it just takes a lot of will power and the grace of God to change an unwell body.

Anyhow, onto the reason for this post...

This is what my desk looks like right now,

but this is what it looked like last night,

And this was late night. I had, had enough. It was time for a break. Couldn't feel my hands, arms, or my feet anymore. Time to call it a night.

And that is where we are this morning. I have a doctors appointment in a hour and then I will be back to the grind. I need to get all the graduation stuff under control. He graduations Saturday.

Have a blessed day and a wonderful week. I hope to see you sooner then later.

How wonderful that you now have a room to yourself. Make sure you take it easy though. You might find this site interesting - I read it and listen to the podcasts now and then - it's a man who has a chronic illness and he blogs about how he stays creative whilst being kind to his body - http://www.sustainablycreative.com He's very inspiring.

Oh Mindy! You had a crazy week. I can't believe you moved rooms so soon after oral surgery. I hope you can see to give yourself rest and have a speedy recovery!
