SERIOUSLY

Have you ever been going along and you see that the project you have been working on is ALMOST done. I painted and distressed the frame last night before I went to bed and I just started working on it a little bit ago to finish it up.

One last thing needs to be done. I need to add the little doll rod on the back as the stand.

THEN..... PO, CRACK, BOOM!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!?!

YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING.

Time to see if we have any wood glue.

So hopefully this is not how the rest of my evening will be.

On a better note, I have been busy getting things done. I am working my way through all my Cricut cartridges to do the project that is in the front of the manual.

Scrapped Pages

HOLY TOLEDO - 


I finally scrapped some pages. I have been working on altered items and everything other than pages I thought I almost forgot how to do them. I have not worked on any pages since May of 2010. I sat down the other night and worked on my album. 


I was so excited to get so many pages done. I also worked on another album that I forgot to take pictures of. I guess I will just have to show you another time. 


This was a trip to the Apple Orchard that just my DH and I went on. Our album that I am working on is a 
8 1/2 x 11 album. 

I finished up a paper topiary too. 

Today I went to Michaels to see if they had any of the $9.99 Cricut cartridges left....... well I now have  - Paisley, Pagoda, and Sesame Street Friends. Then when I got home the FedEx man stopped at my house and dropped off Mini Monograms and George & Basic Shapes. I turned in some of my rewards. So today alone I got 5 cartridges, I would call that a good day.


The other day when I was organizing my paper, my cat Shannie thought it would be a good idea to climb in.

I think I have a fascination with pattern paper stacks. I was sitting on the floor when I took this, it was pretty tall.

The tallest stack is cardstock and the next one is just paper. 

Well I think that will be it for tonight. I hope everyone has had a WONDERFUL Saturday and continue to have a wonderful weekend.


Tomorrow after church I will be heading to a Stampin' Up workshop. I just LOVE going to those.

Happy New Year

Yes, I know I am a little late in saying that to everyone, but I have been waiting for my new blog design. I am still waiting, but hopefully it will be soon.

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful New Year. For me this is going to be the new year for new things. I hope to be able to do a lot of new things this year and get my crafting on.

I plan on updating my blog once a day, updating my Facebook page at least once a day, having weekly challenges, monthly swaps the whole nine yards. I have so many things running through my head right now, I really need to start writing things done.

There is no reason with me being home that I can not get this done.

Well I will post some things that I have been working on later this afternoon, I have been going into the office to help out this week and today is my last day. WOOOOOO WHOOOOOO.

Christmas Hangover

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas and received what you wished for. It is the best to spend time with family to create more memories to scrapbook.

After church we had our tradition of letting the kids open 1 gift on Christmas Eve. The kids will not let that one go, so I guess I have to keep my mind working long enough to know what little gifts I wrap.

I was blessed to get 5 Cricut cartridges that were on my wish list.

I finally have scrapped a page after a 7 month hiatus from doing pages. I really miss traditional scrapbooking. I think I will be working on more pages today.

I also cleaned and changed around my craft space, just a little.

Believe it or not I know where everything is. I will be doing an updated tour soon, I just wanted to take pictures while it was still clean. 

I will check back soon as I have been missing everyone. Hope you all have a Wonderful and safe New Year if I don't post more prior.

Craft Show Today
